The last few days have really, really sucked. There was another Angel attack and myself, Shinji, and the First had to scramble to fight the stupid thing. Normally, it would've been a piece of cake, just like any other Angel. Shinji had to get overconfident and go charging in like an idiot again and then this... darkness... swallowed his Eva whole. It was just gone. The First and I got pulled back and we had to wait. And wait. And wait. All because of stupid Shinji.

The weirdest thing happened, then. His Eva came back and destroyed the Angel single-handedly. Shinji was still in there, but he ended up in the hospital afterwards. I went to check on him later, but the First was already there. Not that I was worried about him or anything. It's not my problem if he goes and gets himself hurt. It just would've been annoying to have to get a new pilot or to have to work with the First of my own. At least Shinji acts human.

And then there's this whole future Shinji thing. I have the feeling he's not telling me everything about the future. I should press him for more details...
