I don't really get some of the people here, but... whatever. They're all gonna be falling over themselves to try and get the prize, I guess.

I can't see getting comfortable around here will help in saving their universes. But then, who the fuck knows, maybe asking for shit makes Echo happy and more inclined to put their universe higher on the 'save' list.

Maybe it does. It's like participation points or whatever and if you play along, she puts you higher on the ranking chart! Who the Hell knows...

As they walk they're entering a more forested area.]

[ Asuka glances up at the branches overhead as they go, gaze distant. ]

Probably. This whole place feels like we're under a microscope sometimes... wouldn't be surprised if we were.

[It won't be too long before they're coming upon some yurt-y space-ish kind of buildings. Accelerator pauses, still a bit away from them, and switches his choker again. He frowns a little, but shrugs.]

[ She scoffs and then trails off into silence. She gives him a look. ]

The architecture's unusual. Like all of this is supposed to be hidden.

[It's weird, and he doesn't really want to investigate further, so he turns away.]

[ She says like she didn't volunteer to come along. ]

Yeah. You don't have to stick around if it's too boring.

[He knows this isn't exactly exciting.]

[ She jibes in return. ]

It's the necessary kind of boring. [He'd put it on the same level as boring bureaucratic paperwork he has to do now that he's running a city.] I'd rather be taking a nap.

[ She is noticing a pattern here. ]

Like go to prison? But still run a city from there? That kind of boring?

[ She still thinks it's incredibly dumb and she will not stop mentioning it. ]

[He sighs tiredly.]

[The next building is some brutalist monstrosity. Accelerator checks this one too, but the walls look thick enough that they could be blocking signals. He'll keep that in mind, since he isn't going to go break in or anything.]
