[021 | DDD] Web Video Post

[The camera clicks on and for the first few moments there's just a desk and a seemingly empty room. A moment later, someone begins playing scales on a violin, over and over for a few minutes. Eventually it stops and Asuka comes into frame, cradling her violin with one arm, bow held in her other hand and tapping against her shoulder. She sits down and looks into the camera for a moment, looking thoughtful.]

So, I have a webcam now. I'm not quite sure what to do with that, but I figured I might as well test it out! After all, It's been a week or so since I last posted anything. And that stupid virus is over, so I'm back to my normal, beautiful self!

[She idly twirls her chair around, staring upwards for a moment.]

Fifteen, fifteen... fünfzehn. I'm turning fifteen in a few days! Which reminds me! I'm throwing a little get together for myself at that karaoke place Minato mentioned! Everyone at the dorm can come. Even Kaworu.

[She leans towards the camera with a grin.] Johnny, you're coming too! And Jordan, you're also invited!

Anyway, that's it! Ciao!

[Asuka flashes a victory sign, then stands and moves off-screen again. The sound of scales begins anew.]

[The camera switches back on and Asuka wipes away something on her cheek and manages a smile.]

[there's a soft click and the camera flickers to life. Kaworu hasn't leaned back yet, but the image is blurring, as though its being adjusted. after a moment, the motion stops and he shifts back, finally taking a seat.

his hair's a bit messier than usual, as if he just rolled out of bed. he doesn't move to smooth it, though he does shake his head a bit to clear his field of vision.]

... Soryu-san, do you happen to be all right? [his words are quiet. sleep-warmed. there's a faint note of concern, though it does not translate into his expression.] ... I believe I heard something shatter.

[Asuka blinks at the screen for a moment, then wipes at her eyes once more and stares at a point above the camera.]

I'm fine!

It was just my stupid alarm clock. I'll have to steal Shinji's.

[Kaworu follows the movement carefully, but does not mention it. There's something like a faint realization that seeps into his expression, though it gone too quickly to be truly caught.]

... I see. Though, that rather puts Shinji out of an alarm clock. I suppose I will have to lend him mine, in return.
